In WorkHands, each related instruction requirement is kept separate from the class an apprentice takes to meet it. Patrick shows how to assign a class, notify the apprentice, and mark it complete with a grade and proof attached.

In this video

  • 0:04 Open the apprentice's related instruction. Each requirement comes from their occupation

  • 0:25 Pick a requirement, like Brake Systems, and choose Assign a class

  • 0:38 Use the default class, or pick a different class to meet the requirement if the schedule changes or for past credit

  • 0:55 Set the term, add a note such as "please finalize with the registrar", and notify the apprentice

  • 1:10 At the end of the term WorkHands lets you know the class is probably complete

  • 1:25 Mark it complete, enter the grade and attach proof such as a transcript

  • 1:40 The apprentice is notified, and the proof is saved with the class and in their documents
