The Lane Early Learning Apprenticeship Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (LELA JATC) (MA #3013) offers a Child Care Development Specialist Registered Apprenticeship program designed to support early childhood professionals as they grow their careers. Apprentices earn while they learn through a combination of paid, on-the-job training and related educational coursework, with pathways to a Child Development Associate (CDA) or an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.

Supported by Onward Eugene, Lane Community College, and Quality Care Connections, and LELA affiliated-employers, the program provides coaching, mentorship, tuition assistance, and wrap-around services. Apprentices benefit from guidance by experienced early childhood professionals and access to Oregon Registry Online and community-based training, helping them successfully navigate their professional journey and advance in the field.

LELA JATC (MA #3013) will not discriminate against apprenticeship applicants or apprentices based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex (including pregnancy and gender identity), sexual orientation, genetic information, or because they are an individual with a disability or a person 40 years old or older. LELA JATC will take affirmative action to provide equal opportunity in apprenticeship and will operate the apprenticeship program as required under Title 29 of the Code of Federal Regulations, part 30. (29 CFR § 30.3(c))
