We're going to try something a little different in this space today. This is a call for potential apprenticeship applicants. We want to help you navigate this crazy space and get you into an apprenticeship -- free of charge -- so we can better serve your peers at scale.
We started WorkHands with tracking -- or apprenticeship management system, if you must -- and have recently rolled out products for promoting any program, for recruiting, and for apprenticeship standards for new programs.
You know who we don't hear from a ton?
You, the interested-but-dont-know-where-to-start potential apprentice or applicant. You're a tricky group to find. Some of you are still in school. Some of you are in a part-time job or degree program questioning your decisions.
Whatever the reason you haven't found an apprenticeship yet, we want to help!
We've already been working on a whole bunch of resources for you, to start. Here's a few examples:

We might turn what we learn into blog posts to help out others -- this post about electrical programs in Georgia, for example, was born from a similar impromptu call we had.
We're hoping that, by helping you, we will learn how to help turn the tide in making it easier to become an apprentice nationwide.
But, those bigger ambitions are for tomorrow.
