The Registered Apprenticeship program offers eligible Veterans a unique opportunity to apply and extend the valuable skills and experience gained in the service across a variety of industries. Check out THIS TOOL to help you translate your military occupation specialty to an apprenticeship occupation.
By becoming a registered apprentice, you can earn a paycheck while learning a new trade (or continuing with an old one), gaining valuable work experience, and setting yourself up for a successful career. This program is an excellent way for veterans to transition into civilian life and build a better future for themselves and their families.
Veterans may be eligible for special programs and benefits through the Department of Labor's Veterans' Employment and Training Service (VETS). VETS offers assistance with finding and applying for apprenticeships, as well as support for transitioning from military to civilian life.
