Westinghouse Electric Company’s apprenticeship programs provide a structured pathway for developing skilled maintenance professionals through a combination of hands on training and formal technical education. Delivered in partnership with the South Carolina Apprenticeship Program and Midlands Technical College (MTC), the programs prepare apprentices to meet the technical, safety, and quality expectations of nuclear fuel fabrication operations while building long term career opportunities in the skilled trades. The Industrial Mechanical Maintenance and Industrial Electrical Maintenance apprenticeship programs focus on competency based skill development, including preventive and corrective maintenance, equipment diagnostics, and mechanical and electrical fundamentals.
