Wilmington University is proud to partner with the Laborers Union and LIUNA Local 199 to offer innovative apprenticeship programs that blend hands-on training with the opportunity to earn college credits. This initiative is designed to meet the growing demand for skilled professionals in the teaching sector, particularly in Delaware, where workforce shortages have prompted new strategies to cultivate talent from within our communities.
Our programs focus on developing future educators, including roles such as Teachers and Instructors and Teaching Assistants across various education levels. By participating in these apprenticeships, individuals gain valuable experience and skills while contributing to the enhancement of the educational workforce. Together, we aim to strengthen our communities and create pathways for aspiring educators to succeed.
