Overview

The University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) is proud to offer a pioneering K-12 Teacher Apprenticeship program in collaboration with the Calhan School District. This innovative initiative is designed to empower paraprofessionals already working in schools, providing them with the opportunity to advance their careers as qualified educators while gaining hands-on experience in the classroom.

In addition to the Teacher Apprenticeship program, UCCS also hosts the Colorado Cybersecurity Apprenticeship Program, which focuses on addressing the skills gap in the cybersecurity field. Both programs reflect UCCS's commitment to workforce training and developing skilled professionals who are ready to meet the demands of today's job market.
