From day one, TEK was shaped by the voices of the community and the needs of local employers. Through extensive research and ongoing collaboration with industry partners, we designed programs that respond directly to today’s job market — not yesterday’s classrooms. Established in July 2021 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit proprietary school, TEK Center is more than a training facility; it is a launchpad for regional prosperity.
Located in the heart of Eastern Kentucky, TEK delivers industry-built, hands-on skilled trades training that prepares students for immediate employment. Our fast-track, performance-driven programs lead to nationally recognized, industry-approved, and state certifications in less than one year. At TEK, students don’t just learn a trade — they build a future, support their families, and help power the next generation of the Eastern Kentucky workforce.
