We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for anFAA Assembly Mechanic to join a leading Company in Phoenix, AZ. Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour 1st Shift: Mon - Fri 5:30 AM - 2:00 PM **US Citizenship is required.** The FAA Assembly Mechanic Level 1 is responsible for assembling, maintaining, and testing mechanical equipment and components to ensure proper functionality and safety. This role includes identifying and replacing worn or defective parts and supporting ongoing operational efficiency in a regulated FAA environment. Job Responsibilities: + Assemble mechanical components in accordance with quality standards and specifications. + Perform routine maintenance and functional and safety testing of equipment. + Detect damaged, worn, or malfunctioning components requiring replacement. + Order replacement parts as needed to maintain production continuity. Basic Hiring Criteria: + High school diploma or equivalent required; apprenticeship or formal technical training preferred. + 2+ years of related Mechanical Assembly experience. + Basic understanding of standard concepts, practices, and procedures in a mechanical environment. + Must be able to lift up to 30lbs unassisted Military connected talent encouraged to apply.
