We have an outstanding Contract to Hire position for anFAA Assembly Mechanicto join a leading Company located in thePhoenix, AZsurrounding area.
**US Citizenship is required.**
Seeking a highly skilled FAA Assembly Mechanic Level 2 to support the assembly, maintenance, testing, and repair of aerospace mechanical and electrical components. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in avionics and wire harness assembly, including work with both APU (Auxiliary Power Unit) and Engine Harnesses.
This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to critical aerospace programs while working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with potential for contract-to-hire employment based on performance and attendance.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Assemble and construct mechanical and electrical components according to specifications and quality standards.
+ Build, install, inspect, and test aircraft wire harness assemblies.
+ Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing of equipment and assemblies.
+ Work with APU and Engine Harnesses, ensuring compliance with engineering and FAA requirements.
+ Conduct continuity checks and functional testing of electrical components and assemblies.
+ Identify worn, damaged, or malfunctioning parts requiring replacement.
+ Order replacement parts as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
+ Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
+ Follow established manufacturing processes and safety procedures.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Technical training, apprenticeship, or certification in avionics, electrical systems, aerospace manufacturing, or a related field.
+ 0-2 years of relevant experience.
+ Familiarity with commonly used aerospace manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures.
+ Experience performing testing, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical assemblies.
+ Experience in mechanical assembly, avionics assembly, wire harness manufacturing, or a related aerospace field.
+ Skilled in aircraft wire harness assembly and installation.
+ Experience working with both APU and Engine Harnesses.
+ Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
