Santee Cooper is proud to offer a robust apprenticeship program in South Carolina, focusing on essential trades including Computer Programming, Electrical Power-Line Installation, and Telecommunications Line Installation. Our program is dedicated to training the next generation of skilled professionals who will contribute to the community and the field of public power.
Our apprentices have the opportunity to participate in competitions such as the Public Power Lineworkers Rodeo, showcasing their skills and commitment to safety. Through hands-on experience and expert mentorship, we prepare our apprentices for rewarding careers in vital occupations that help keep our community connected and powered.
