No previous tree care experience required—we will train the right person from the ground up! What You'll Do As a Groundsman, you are the backbone of our daily operations. You will support our crew leaders and climbing arborists on the ground to ensure job sites run safely, efficiently, and cleanly. Site Setup & Safety: Set up cones, signs, and safety zones around work areas. Material Handling: Drag brush, feed branches into the wood chipper, and haul logs/stumps. Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain chainsaws, leaf blowers, rakes, ropes, and rigging gear after proper training. Climber Support: Send tools, ropes, and gear up to climbing arborists as needed. Site Cleanup: Rake lawns, sweep driveways, and leave every property cleaner than you found it. Driver Duties: Assist with driving trucks and hauling equipment trailers to job sites What We're Looking For Work Ethic: Strong physical stamina and a willingness to work hard outdoors in various weather conditions. Team Player: Positive attitude, active listener, and eager to learn the arborist trade. Safety First: Ability to strictly follow safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Reliability: Punctual and dependable daily transportation to our shop. Requirements: Must be 18 years of age or older. Valid Driver's License (Clean driving record preferred). Ability to lift 50+ lbs consistently throughout the day.
