Job Overview: We are looking for a dependable, motivated Shop Laborer / Apprentice to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has some general knowledge of the trades and wants to learn valuable, high-skill metal fabrication work alongside experienced craftsmen . Responsibilities & Training Include: Shop organization and general cleanliness Material handling and assisting experienced craftsmen Operating an automated cutting saw Operating an automated drilling machine Learning steel fabrication techniques Training in welding and grinding steel Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas Assisting with a variety of shop and fabrication projects Who We're Looking For: Some general construction, mechanical, or trades experience is preferred Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with tools Dependable, punctual, and willing to work Able to follow instructions and work safely Interested in learning welding and metal fabrication Positive attitude and willingness to learn No extensive fabrication or welding experience is required. We are willing to train the right person. MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE. This position offers the opportunity to learn a skilled trade with hands-on training from seasoned craftsmen .
