Merck, Sharp & Dohme LLC is proud to offer a robust apprenticeship program in Virginia, focusing on the training of Electro-Mechanical and Mechatronics Technologists and Technicians. This program aims to cultivate skilled professionals in various occupations, including Electronic Industrial Control Mechanics, Industrial Engineering Technologists, Maintenance Mechanics, and Quality Control Technicians. By providing hands-on training and real-world experiences, we strive to prepare our apprentices for successful careers in the dynamic life sciences and biopharma sectors.
Our commitment to workforce development is further reflected in recent initiatives, such as the life sciences pre-apprenticeships offered in North Carolina, which aim to enhance training opportunities for over 200 students. Through these efforts, we continue to support our community and contribute to the growth of a skilled workforce.
