Welcome to the IRONWORKERS LOCAL 848 JATC apprenticeship program, where we are dedicated to training the next generation of skilled tradespeople in the architectural, ornamental, and structural ironworking fields. Located in Charlotte, NC, we serve both North Carolina and South Carolina, providing comprehensive training for aspiring ironworkers. Our program focuses on equipping individuals with the knowledge and hands-on experience necessary to excel in various ironworking specialties, including reinforcing concrete and structural steel work.
Through our commitment to workforce development, we aim to enhance the skills of our apprentices and contribute to the construction industry's growth. We are proud to be part of a network that recognizes the achievements of apprentices, as evidenced by recent honors such as the 'Apprentice of the Year' award, celebrating the dedication and hard work of individuals in our trade.
