Jobs › Worcester, MA › Maintenance Mechanic III Insight Global Maintenance Mechanic III Worcester, MA Apply Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic III for a leading manufacturing client in the bonded abrasives industry. This individual will join a small but highly skilled maintenance team supporting a fast-paced production facility. The ideal candidate will bring strong troubleshooting abilities and hands-on experience repairing automated manufacturing equipment, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and facility machinery. Daily responsibilities include preventative maintenance, fabrication, machining, welding, equipment repair, and responding to production issues as they arise. This role is ideal for a seasoned mechanic who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and contributing to continuous operational improvements. Candidates with experience in industrial manufacturing environments such as food production, plastics, abrasives, or similar facilities will be particularly successful. Skills and Requirements High school diploma or GED Trade school education, apprenticeship, or equivalent maintenance experience Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems Machine repair and preventative maintenance experience Ability to read blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and repair manuals Experience using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) Fabrication and machining experience Forklift certification or ability to obtain Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in industrial manufacturing environments Welding experience Metal fabrication experience Conveyor system maintenance and repair Bearing and sprocket replacement experience Pump maintenance and repair HVAC/EPA certifications Additional trade or vocational certifications Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) experience TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) knowledge OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) knowledge We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
