Pet Grooming Apprentice Countryside Grooming - Powell, Wyoming No grooming experience? No problem. We'll teach you. Have you always wanted to work with dogs but didn't know where to start? Countryside Grooming is looking for a motivated, dependable individual to join our team as a Pet Grooming Apprentice. This is a hands-on training program designed to teach you the skills needed to become a professional pet groomer. If you love animals, enjoy working with your hands, and are willing to learn, we'll provide the training. What You'll Learn Safe dog handling Bathing and drying techniques Brushing and deshedding Nail trimming and ear cleaning Proper use and care of grooming equipment Breed identification Customer service Salon safety and sanitation Professional grooming techniques from beginner to advanced As your skills develop, you'll gradually take on more responsibility and learn every aspect of professional grooming at a pace based on your progress. Training Most of your daily work will be in our Powell salon. Some hands-on training will take place at our Worland location, where you'll work alongside experienced groomers to build your skills. Reliable transportation to Worland during the training period is required.
