Overview We are seeking a motivated Residential Plumbing Apprentice to join our team. This entry-level position offers hands-on experience in plumbing systems within residential construction and remodeling projects. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, reliable, and interested in developing a career in the plumbing and construction industry. As an apprentice, you will work closely with experienced plumbers to gain practical skills and industry knowledge, contributing to the successful completion of various residential projects. Duties Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of residential plumbing systems Learn to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings related to plumbing and HVAC systems Use hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment safely and effectively Support the setup and teardown of construction sites, ensuring safety protocols are followed Participate in measuring, cutting, fitting, and assembling pipes and fixtures Help with remodeling projects by performing basic carpentry and handyman tasks as needed Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout each project Follow instructions from senior technicians on proper procedures for plumbing installation and repair Skills Basic understanding of construction site safety practices Familiarity with construction plumbing, welding, and mechanical systems preferred Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and pipe threading equipment Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems and general maintenance tasks Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations Experience or familiarity with construction site work, remodeling, or handyman services is a plus Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail Willingness to learn new skills such as blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and pipe installation techniques Physical ability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods This position provides valuable training opportunities for individuals interested in building a career in residential plumbing and construction.
