Responsible for broadband installation and troubleshooting activities for voice, video and data services. Completes field assessments, meets/exceeds company standards/metrics and completes necessary certifications and education for current role and for consideration for advancement to the next level. Functions in an entry-level position, with an increasing degree of proficiency and decreasing degree of onsite-supervision to complete installation and troubleshooting activities. Continued employment is contingent upon achieving required training, certifications and safety requirements. Works on straightforward tasks using established procedures.

Responsibilities
Installs, modifies, and removes services per company procedures, NEC/NESC codes, and local ordinances.
Performs service calls and troubleshoots from tap to customer equipment.
Designs and assesses basic home networks using coaxial, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and MoCA.
Completes accurate and timely record-keeping for customer accounts.
Tests and adjusts service quality to ensure optimal performance.
Designs Wi-Fi networks considering interference, channel use, and device placement.
Educates customers on services, equipment, and usage expectations.
Maintains and stocks vehicle and tools; reports maintenance needs and incidents.
Reconciles issued customer premise equipment (CPE) with warehouse.
Operates and maintains tools, meters, ladders, and digital diagnostic systems.
Maintains required licenses and passes background checks as needed.
Uses sound judgment in installations, service, and customer interactions.
Works at heights (poles, roofs), in confined spaces, and near power lines.
Handles physical tasks: lifting 70+ lbs, standing long periods, and using hand tools.
Adheres to equipment weight limits and safety protocols.
Drives company vehicle responsibly and maintains valid driver's license.
Communicates effectively with customers and team members.
Uses vision effectively for tool and equipment handling.
Encounters animals in work environments.
Completes training and certifications within required timeframes.
Works in all weather conditions and variable schedules, including weekends and holidays.
