Clemson University is proud to be part of South Carolina's commitment to workforce development through its apprenticeship programs. One such initiative is the Commercial Seafood Apprenticeship Program offered by the South Carolina Sea Grant Consortium. This month-long program provides individuals with hands-on training in commercial fishing and mariculture, equipping them with the skills necessary to thrive in these vital industries.
Our apprenticeship programs are designed to support aspiring professionals by combining classroom instruction with practical experience. We strive to create pathways for individuals to enter skilled occupations, such as heavy and tractor-trailer truck driving, and to contribute meaningfully to South Carolina's diverse economy.
