The Charleston Water System is dedicated to developing skilled professionals in the water and wastewater treatment industry through its registered apprenticeship program. Located in South Carolina, the program offers hands-on training in various occupations, including Construction Laborers, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technologists and Technicians, and Industrial Machinery Mechanics. Participants have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals while earning a competitive wage of $22 to $33 an hour.
Our apprenticeship program focuses on essential roles such as Solids Handling Operator and Water Treatment Specialist, providing participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their careers.
