Overview

Apprentices in the Central Community College Registered Apprenticeship Program work full-time with employer partners while completing related classroom instruction through CCC. They gain hands-on training, industry-specific skills, and real-world experience in high-demand career fields while earning a paycheck. Apprentices follow a structured training plan developed by the employer and college, allowing them to build their careers, receive wage progression, earn nationally recognized credentials, and complete their education with little to no student debt. This model creates a direct pathway from learning to long-term career success.

Employers in the Central Community College Registered Apprenticeship Program partner with CCC to develop and train a skilled workforce through structured, hands-on learning. Employers hire apprentices as full-time employees, provide on-the-job training, and help guide their professional development while CCC delivers the related classroom instruction and program support. This partnership helps employers' close skill gaps, improve retention, strengthen workforce pipelines, and invest in long-term employee success while building talent tailored to their industry needs.
