Overview
The Alaska Vocational Technical Center (AVTEC) is proud to offer a variety of apprenticeship programs aimed at equipping individuals with the skills needed for successful careers in the trades. Our programs, which include training for Construction Laborers, Electricians, Plumbers, Pipefitters, Steamfitters, and Network and Computer Systems Administrators, are designed to meet the demands of Alaska's growing workforce.
Recently, AVTEC launched Alaska's first apprenticeship program for technology and network support specialists in partnership with the Computing Technology Industry Association. This initiative underscores our commitment to providing innovative training solutions that align with industry needs and enhance the skills of our community members.
