The Alabama Department of Early Childhood Education is proud to offer a registered apprenticeship program in Early Childhood Education, designed to equip aspiring educators with the skills and experience necessary to thrive in this vital field. Collaborating with Wallace State Community College and various community organizations, this initiative allows participants to gain hands-on experience while pursuing their educational goals.

With a range of occupations available, including Early Childhood Educator I, II, and III, as well as Child Development Specialists and Early Childhood Teachers, this program serves to enhance the quality of early childhood education in Alabama.
