Introduction
Acutronic Aerospace Components Division in Central Texas is proud to sponsor the DOL Registered Apprenticeship Program, Acutronic Apprenticeship Alliance (A3)!
In collaboration with the Bastrop Independent School District's (BISD’s) Advanced Manufacturing P-Tech program, Acutronic is launching the Acutronic Apprenticeship Alliance – or A3. The program will allow apprentices to apply technical and soft skills; earn a competitive wage before graduating high school; and provide a clear path for their career as electromechanical technicians.
A3 is the first of its kind in Texas and one of the trailblazing programs in the country.
Concept
For over 50 years, Acutronic’s business in Switzerland has nurtured apprentices; many of whom now hold leadership positions across the company. We blend the best of Switzerland’s dual track vocational model with the best of the American high school system. This will revolutionize apprenticeship programs in the US.
