We are currently looking to fill several 3rd shift Maintenance Technician roles , offering a variety of scheduling arrangements. Shift Options We offer the following potential schedules: Sunday through Thursday: 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM Friday through Monday: Flexible 10 or 12 hour shifts, allowing you to set your preferred start time Specific shift assignments will be determined based on current openings and discussed during the hiring process. Please note that business demands may necessitate holiday or overtime work. Compensation and Benefits $500 sign-on incentive Four weeks of paid vacation time plus 13 paid holidays 401(k) retirement plan with company profit sharing Support for education through tuition reimbursement and student loan repayment Comprehensive health, family, and personal coverage effective from your first day Role Summary The Maintenance Technician is tasked with the repair, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance of our utility systems and production machinery, ensuring all work is performed safely and in compliance with standards. While we require a background in hands-on technical, electrical, or maintenance work, prior experience in pharmaceutical or manufacturing sectors is not necessary. You must possess the electrical proficiency required to safely diagnose systems up to 480V. We provide comprehensive training on our specific systems, regulatory standards, and processes. We welcome applicants with backgrounds in skilled trades, industrial maintenance, HVAC, military maintenance, field service, or facilities maintenance. You will support a variety of systems, including coders, cartoners, conveyors, case packers, automated packaging lines, controls, and motors. Key Responsibilities Ensure all mechanical and electrical repairs are conducted in a safe and compliant manner Safely perform electrical diagnostics on systems reaching 480V to help maintain operational uptime Identify and resolve issues related to machine controls, electrical components, and mechanical systems Execute preventive maintenance tasks according to established schedules and instructions Determine the necessary parts, materials, and repair strategies to resolve equipment malfunctions Utilize hand and power tools with high levels of safety and competence Review and apply information from technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints to support maintenance tasks Record all maintenance and repair activities within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and relevant logs Contribute to the overall reliability of our equipment and the success of our predictive maintenance programs Help uphold a safe working environment by maintaining systems according to strict regulatory and manufacturing requirements Adhere to all site-specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and cGMP guidelines Collaborate effectively with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to ensure operational success Carry out additional maintenance duties as requested by leadership Qualifications Demonstrated experience in electrical, maintenance, or related technical fields Proven ability to troubleshoot electrical systems safely up to 480V Strong mechanical aptitude with a history of repairing and diagnosing equipment Proficiency in the safe use of various power and hand tools Ability to interpret and utilize electrical and mechanical schematics Capacity to safely diagnose equipment failures and determine the best path forward Strong verbal and written communication skills Basic computer literacy to manage maintenance documentation and records Preferred Qualifications Two or more years of experience in electro-mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance Technical training, apprenticeship, or an Associate degree in a relevant field Experience maintaining automated, packaging, or industrial manufacturing equipment Background working with sensors, motors, conveyors, or other automated systems Experience utilizing a CMMS or similar maintenance tracking software Physical Requirements Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds Ability to walk and stand for extended periods Ability to bend, crouch, climb, and sit as required by the task Ability to work safely in proximity to active manufacturing machinery Ability to distinguish colors for electrical and mechanical tasks Potential exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and unconditioned environments Join Our Team We are actively seeking candidates for multiple 3rd shift Maintenance Technician positions.
