As of July 2026, Missouri continues to rank amongst the top states for registered apprenticeship activity, including active and new apprentices and completion rates. Missouri is also first in the nation for serving apprentices with disabilities. Missouri currently has 24,001 active apprentices across 342 registered programs, including 69 registered youth apprenticeship programs. Missouri met its big goal to serve 65,000 new apprentices officially in January since the inception of the Office of Apprenticeship & Work-Based Learning in October 2019 and has seen 26,327 apprentices complete their apprenticeship training.
