Build an Apprenticeship

Overview

Governor Moore speaking at IBEW Local 26 Apprenticeship Graduation by Anthony DePanise (June 2025) Registered Apprenticeship is a top workforce strategy for boosting recruitment, building talent, retaining skilled workers, and creating a safe and productive workplace. Thousands of employers across Maryland currently sponsor or participate in Registered Apprenticeship programs, and tens of thousands of Marylanders are trained through apprenticeship each year. Apprenticeship works for large employers and small businesses alike, with flexible training options that can cover a wide range of occupations — from the building trades to healthcare, cybersecurity, and public service.
