Summary of Position and Responsibilities:Responsible for running jobs complete; from setup thru 1st piece inspection, in-process inspection and job tear down. Including; able to follow setup and tool sheets for set ups, uploading and downloading of CNC Programs, accurately machining product, documenting inspection sheets, maintaining cleanliness in work area, accurately accounting for all job time through wanding stations, conforming to Safety and 5S standards and produce parts to expected quality standards.1st Shift is Monday - Thursday 5:00 am to 3:30 pm.2nd Shift is Monday - Thursday 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM.Overtime opportunities are available.Qualifications of Candidate:Demonstrated experience with CNC machining. Machine programming a plus.Education Requirements: 2-year Machine Tool Technology degree, Machinist Apprenticeship Program or related experience (OTJ Training)Experience Requirements: Experience with Lathes, Roughing and Finishing operations as they relate to producing a manufactured part through machining.Team player able to work across departments, collaborating with Manufacturing Engineers and Quality Control on job quality, improvement and development.Blueprint Reading, GDT and Inspection Skills a strong plus.Ability to lift 50lbs.Demonstrate basic working knowledge of inspection methodologies.Able to apply knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, sequencing, metal properties, layout, tolerances and machining procedures.
