Description
Industrial Control Panel Assembler
Step into a day where your craftsmanship powers cutting-edge automation. You arrive, grab the latest build package for a robotic cell, and start transforming drawings into a polished, fully wired control panel that will drive world-class automation systems.
A day in your role
Morning: You review engineering drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints. You plan the enclosure layout, mark cutouts, and prepare panels and backplates. Before a single hole is drilled, you reconcile parts against the Bill of Material to ensure everything is on hand.
Midday: You assemble electrical control panels and related assemblies, wiring devices with correct voltage levels and industry-standard color codes. With wire strippers, crimpers, soldering irons, screwdrivers, wrenches, and measurement devices, you route and terminate neatly, labeling as you go.
Afternoon: You conduct continuity checks and workmanship reviews to meet strict FANUC standards for safety and quality. You complete work orders and ERP transactions, tidy your station, and note any improvements for the next build. Throughout the day, you follow Lockout/Tagout, PPE guidelines, hazardous material handling, and all electrical safety standards—working efficiently both independently and alongside your team to hit productivity goals.
