A significant part of this role involves helping keep the bakery running smoothly by washing dishes, baking equipment, and work tools, while also assisting bakers with production, packaging, and merchandising. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional bakery and learn new skills. What You'll Be Doing Assist bakers with daily bakery production Package, wrap, and label baked goods Stock and merchandise bakery displays and cases Wash dishes, baking pans, utensils, and production equipment throughout the shift Help maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary bakery environment Learn basic baking techniques and recipes Help prepare cookies, muffins, scones, quick breads, and other baked goods Assist with decorating and finishing products as skills develop Receive and put away deliveries Monitor product quality and freshness Support opening and closing procedures Provide friendly service to customers and fellow team members What We're Looking For Positive attitude and willingness to learn Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Comfortable performing dishwashing and cleaning tasks Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team Attention to detail Interest in baking, food preparation, or culinary arts is a plus No bakery experience required. We are willing to train the right person.
