Responsibilities:
-Hands-on Machining: Set up, operate, and edit programs on HAAS 3-axis mills for high-precision components.
-Material Variety: Work with a wide range of materials from aluminum and stainless steel to engineered plastics and tool steel.
-Custom Solutions: Develop and produce custom fixturing and contribute directly to process improvements.
-Great Team Environment: Join a tight-knit, collaborative team operating with high-quality manufacturing standards.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Skills:
-Must operate with good manufacturing practices daily.
-Work as part of a solid team.
-Ability to contribute to driving process improvements.
Education:
High School
Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
-High School Diploma or GED, associate degree, trade school training or apprenticeship program in a mechanical discipline or tool and die making.
-2+ years of operating CNC mills (preferably HAAS 3-axis) ...
-Ability to read/comprehend technical prints and tolerances in metric dimensioning.
-Have proven ability to edit/verify programs on the HAAS conversational control for multi-axis parts.
-Must have the ability to set-up parts and cutting tools accurately.
-Must be able to develop and produce fixtures when needed.
-Ability to inspect close tolerance part features using gage blocks, indicators, bore gages, micrometers, etc.
-Experience in machining various materials i.e., aluminum, steel, stainless steel, tool steel, engineered plastics.
