Overview:
At Spectrum Killian Dental Lab Alliance (SKDLA), we're passionate about developing talent and building the next generation of skilled dental manufacturing professionals. We are currently hiring an Apprentice Manufacturer - Full Arch (All-on-X) to join our growing Full Arch Center of Excellence.
This role offers hands-on training and real-world exposure to advanced implant and full-arch restoration workflows, combining craftsmanship with cutting-edge digital technology. You'll gain experience across production, quality, and digital case workflows—supporting life-changing restorations that restore patients' smiles and confidence.
What You'll Be Responsible For:
Learn and assist with fabrication processes supporting All-on-X / full-arch restorations, including implant-supported prosthetics.
Support milling, finishing, and post-processing of materials such as zirconia, PMMA, and titanium frameworks.
Assist with polishing, contouring, and surface finishing to meet high aesthetic and functional standards.
Learn to interpret and work with digital case files, including IO scans, STL files, and photogrammetry data.
Support 3D printing and model production used in full-arch workflows.
Conduct quality control checks to verify fit, accuracy, and adherence to case specifications and lab standards.
Accurately enter and track case information within lab management and digital workflow systems.
Collaborate with designers, technicians, and production teams to ensure smooth case flow from intake through final production.
Assist in identifying case discrepancies and escalate issues to senior technicians or leadership when needed.
Follow standard work, SOPs, and safety protocols to ensure consistent and high-quality output.
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation aligned with lab cleanliness and safety standards.
Support team throughput goals by assisting across Full Arch production areas as needed.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support departmental success.
Who We're Looking For:
Basic computer literacy and comfort working with digital dental workflows and systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, team-oriented approach.
Ability to follow technical instructions, SOPs, and safety guidelines with precision.
High attention to detail and a strong interest in implant and full-arch restorations.
Comfortable performing hands-on tasks requiring fine motor skills and manual dexterity.
Dependable, punctual, and motivated to learn in a fast-paced production environment.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively across multiple cases.
Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong alignment with SKDLA's values and commitment to operational excellence and craftsmanship.
Exposure to dental lab environments, implant workflows, CAD/CAM, or manufacturing, a plus.

The anticipated salary range for this role is $20-$24. Final compensation will be individually assessed and may differ based on a variety of factors such as your experience, qualifications, education, skill set, certifications, and other relevant considerations.
