FIELD INSTALLER / INSTALLATION APPRENTICE POSITION SUMMARY Shore Industries is seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our Installation Department as an Entry-Level Field Installer / Installation Apprentice. This is a hands-on role assisting our install crew with commercial and residential shade structures, shade sails, porch enclosure systems, awnings, cabanas, and other outdoor living products. Previous installation experience is not required. We will train the right person who has a strong work ethic, follows directions, enjoys working outdoors, and wants to build a long-term career with Shore Industries. OBJECTIVES Assist the installation crew on commercial and residential shade, shade sail, porch enclosure, awning, and cabana installations. Load, unload, organize, and transport tools, materials, and equipment using company vehicles and trailers. Help confirm that tools, equipment, and materials are prepared before each project leaves the shop. Assist with jobsite setup, installation activities, and daily cleanup. Dig holes and assist with concrete, pole, structural, and hardware installation. Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and lifts safely and correctly after training. Learn Shore Industries and Porch Enclosure Systems products and installation procedures. Follow instructions from the Lead Installer and Field Installation Manager, and follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements. Assist with quality inspections and correction of installation issues. Support seasonal shade installation and removal, and winter shop work including maintenance, cleaning, repairs, and inventory. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (MVR check required) Construction, landscaping, excavation, installation, or general labor experience preferred but not required Familiarity with hand and power tools preferred Equipment-operating experience is a plus; training will be provided SCHEDULE AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Full-time, year-round; Monday-Friday typical, with early mornings, extended days, overtime, and occasional weekends as projects require Travel to customer and project locations, with occasional overnight stays Regular outdoor work in varying weather conditions Lift and carry up to 50 pounds; assist with heavier loads using team lifts or equipment Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work from ladders and lifts after training COMPENSATION & BENEFITS $17.00-$20.00 per hour, based on experience Overtime opportunities based on workload and project schedules Health, dental, and vision insurance, plus supplemental insurance options 401(k) with company match Paid holidays and paid time off Tuition reimbursement and professional training Advancement through the Installation Department Career Progression Program Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance License/Certification: Driver's license and a clean driving record (MVR check) (Required) Work Location: On the road
