Responsibilities Assist in creating detailed repair estimates using automotive estimating software, ensuring accuracy and transparency for customers. Communicate effectively with clients to explain vehicle issues, repair options, and recommended services, emphasizing upselling opportunities when appropriate. Support the service team by coordinating vehicle maintenance appointments, including oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, suspension work, and transmission diagnostics. Learn to identify mechanical issues through automotive diagnostics and mechanical knowledge, supporting the service technicians as needed. Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Contribute to vehicle damage assessments and collision repair estimates using computer-aided estimating tools. Develop knowledge of dealership operations, auto service management practices, and client communication strategies to enhance overall service quality. Requirements Strong interest in automotive repair, diagnostics, and customer service with a desire to learn the trade. Basic mechanical knowledge or experience working as a service technician or in auto repair is preferred. Familiarity with estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools is a plus. Excellent communication skills for explaining technical information clearly to clients. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driving experience is beneficial. Prior dealership or collision repair experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided. Willingness to learn about various automotive systems including air brakes, shocks & struts, suspensions, transmissions, and tire services.
