The Plumbing Apprentice position allows you to learn the skills required of the plumbing and mechanical trade while working as a full-time paid employee. We provide hands-on, on-the-job training alongside experienced journeymen. The Plumbing Apprentice will assist in the assembly, installation and repair of plumbing and heating systems. The Plumbing Apprentice is responsible for delivering high quality work & productivity while in training to become a skilled Journeyman plumber. Position: Apprentice Plumber Compensation: $20.00-30.00, based on experience Schedule: Four, 10-hour shifts, Monday to Thursday—schedule may vary with the seasons! Assist in all facets of rough and trim plumbing. Perform other duties as assigned by management. Accurately track hours using the Gusto timekeeping app. Purchase and maintain required hand tools as outlined by the company. Responsible for keeping and maintaining a clean workspace. Complete book work/educational courses in a timely manner. Job prerequisites: A great attitude.A clean driving record.Competent, responsible, organized and team oriented.Strong basic math skills.Ability to follow orders and directions. Educational and experience requirements: Completion of a High School Diploma or equivalent required.Field experience in construction, plumbing or similar fields is a plus.Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
