Summary NWBS is searching to train a 2nd Year HVAC Apprentice to undertake a variety of tasks relating to new construction. An HVAC Apprentice would be responsible for assembly and service of HVAC systems on all three of the lines at NWBS. Duties and Responsibilities · Be proficient in, or willing to learn, HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork systems · Have some experience or knowledge in installing line splits · Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and possess a high degree of integrity and the ability to analyze a variety of problems and work independently. · Proficient understanding, or willing to learn residential and commercial system installations · Exceptional safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings. · General knowledge, or willing to train, in all HVAC low voltage systems · Understand and apply all relevant coding. · Provide own small hand tools Qualifications: · At least 2 years of experience · Comply with OSHA standards · Ability to lift and carry objects 75 and over on occasion. · Consistently reach above and below shoulder level. · Willingness to trained, take direction, and work in a team with others. · Can meet our daily schedule and possible overtime when necessary. · Ability to climb ladders, use scaffolding and use man lifts to perform work duties. · Ability to consistently work on low level surface. · Manual dexterity and hand/eye coordination to operate equipment. · Handle repetitive tasks involving hand and arm motion. · Must be able to wear protective equipment.
