Overview
Successful Apprentice Technicians are expected to assist with the effective installation of geosynthetic materials as required by project specifications while complying with safety and quality procedures. This role is suited for people who enjoy working outdoors year-round and are available to travel frequently. All people with a blue-collar background are invited to apply.
Responsibilities
Assist with the installation and inspection of geosynthetic products such as geomembranes, geosynthetic clay liner, and drainage layers on construction sites.
Support the setup and operation of heavy equipment including forklifts, UTVs, skid steers, and other machinery required for material handling and site preparation.
Learn to perform rigging and secure loads safely for transportation or equipment setup.
Conduct routine maintenance on tools, power equipment, and vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
Follow strict safety protocols during outdoor work environments, ensuring adherence to occupational safety regulations at all times.
Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate project tasks and report progress or issues promptly.
Qualifications
Must be able to stand, walk on uneven terrain, bend, and crouch for long hours.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
