On-the-job training
- Pipe layout, installation, or repair. Install auto controls.
- Layout, measure and mark, cut, assemble, thread, secure pipe by welding or soldering.
- Attach pipe to walls, structures or fixtures and cut/bore holes for installation.
- Inspect or test pipe systems. Shut off steam, water, gases with valve keys or wrenches.
- Modify, clean, maintain pipe systems. Remove & replace worn components.
- Select pipe size or related materials for pipe installation.
