Description

The Lane Early Learning Apprenticeship Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (LELA JATC) (MA #3013) offers a Child Care Development Specialist Registered Apprenticeship program designed to support early childhood professionals as they grow their careers. Apprentices earn while they learn through a combination of paid, on-the-job training and related educational coursework, with pathways to a Child Development Associate (CDA) or an Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.

Supported by Onward Eugene, Lane Community College, and Quality Care Connections, and LELA affiliated-employers, the program provides coaching, mentorship, tuition assistance, and wrap-around services. Apprentices benefit from guidance by experienced early childhood professionals and access to Oregon Registry Online and community-based training, helping them successfully navigate their professional journey and advance in the field.
