In this role, you will: Responds to non-emergency or delayed calls from the public that may not require the presence of a sworn police officer and gathers information by interviewing victims, witnesses, and reporting parties Assists with traffic control, minor noninjury collision investigation, takes statements, and completes related reports Conducts follow up investigations that do not require contact with a suspect; identifies, collects and documents evidence on scene; takes photographs and fingerprints; handles and transports evidence Patrols city parks and recreation areas, monitors users, and reports unsafe conditions or vandalism.
