We are looking for a reliable, motivated, teachable, receptive/eager Glass Technician Apprentice to join our growing team. This is an entry-level role with extensive on-the-job training. You will work alongside our experienced lead glaziers and auto glass technicians. Responsibilities Assist lead glass technicians with the removal, fitting, and installation of automotive and residential glass components Handle and transport glass materials safely using proper lifting techniques and tools Prepare job sites by removing broken glass, old adhesive, and caulking. Cutting glass accurately using manual or power tools Follow safety protocols related to power tool use, heavy lifting, and glass material handling to prevent accidents Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after each job This role requires physical stamina, mechanical aptitude, and a strong commitment to workplace safety Skills No prior glass experience required; background in construction, roofing, automotive repair or general labor is highly preferred. Experience with hand tools, power tools, and manual glass cutting techniques Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs, stand for long periods, and comfortably bend, kneel, or crouch Willingness to learn about ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibration procedures Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment Must possess a valid driver's license This role provides an excellent foundation for those interested in advancing their careers within the automotive or residential glass industry.
