What You'll Learn As a Commercial Door Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced professionals and receive training in: Commercial door and frame preparation Door hardware installation and assembly Reading door and hardware schedules Safe operation of hand and power tools Commercial door pre-machining and pre-dressing processes Product identification and industry best practices Quality control and customer service This position offers a career path into specialized roles within the commercial door and construction materials industry. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Mechanical aptitude and willingness to work with tools Experience using hand tools and power tools preferred Basic carpentry skills are a plus Construction, warehouse, or building materials experience preferred but not required Customer-focused attitude and strong work ethic Ability to lift up to 100 pounds Ability to learn new skills and follow detailed instructions Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check Why Join Interior Supply?
