Job Summary
We are offering an exciting Accounting Assistant Apprenticeship for individuals looking to build a strong foundation in accounting and administrative support. This paid apprenticeship is designed to provide hands-on experience with financial processes, bookkeeping, and office administration while receiving direct mentorship from experienced professionals.
The ideal candidate is motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn accounting principles and office procedures in a real-world setting. No prior accounting experience requires just a willingness to learn and grow.
- Learn to track and record financial transactions using QuickBooks Online and other accounting tools
- Assist with processing accounts payable and receivable
- Help prepare and send client invoices and follow up on outstanding payments
- Support communication with vendors and clients regarding billing and payment questions
- Participate in auditing and accuracy checks on internal profit & loss (P&L) reports
- Contribute to the preparation of financial reports such as P&Ls and balance sheets
- Support administrative functions including payroll, HR tasks, and document filing
- Gain experience using spreadsheets and data entry tools (Excel or Google Sheets
