As the apprentice you with work with the Project Lead in all related tasks assigned to ensure the high-end standards of Goedecke Design Center are being met, no matter the size of the job. You will work closely with the remodeling team to ensure each project is run as effectively and efficiently as possible. Ensuring service levels meet customers' expectations leaving them a memorable experience with Goedecke Design Center. Responsibilities Assist with demolition, framing, drywall, installation, and finishing work under supervision Support the installation of windows, doors, cabinets, flooring, tile, and other building materials Operate hand tools and power tools safely to complete assigned tasks accurately Follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of remodeling plans Help with the setup and cleanup of job sites, maintaining a safe and organized workspace Participate in safety protocol adherence during all phases of construction activities Skills Basic understanding of construction management principles and safety procedures Experience with hand tools, power tools, drywall, caulking, flooring installation, tile laying Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, window installation, glass installation, and cabinet mounting Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately Outdoor work experience preferred for exposure to various weather conditions Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship skills in carpentry and trim work Ability to follow instructions diligently while maintaining a proactive approach to learning new skills Customer Service: Friendly and inviting Join us to kickstart your career in construction!
