As a Process Operator, you will gain hands-on experience producing high-quality products in one of G-3 Chickadee's chemical manufacturing plants. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Perform routine operation of process and mechanical equipment; control, monitor and adjust as necessary Troubleshoot process, product quality, safety and environmental problems and identify equipment requiring maintenance Review, analyze, and interpret lab data, control system monitoring information, and log information from previous shifts to identify problems and make decisions Clean and maintain a safe work environment Abide by standard work procedures and job safety standards, including required PPE Perform a variety of manual tasks in varying temperatures for extended periods of time, which may include lifting light to heavy materials, climbing, standing, squatting, bending, and working at heights and/or confined spaces when applicable Adhere to company attendance policy Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing Understand and follow all instructions, both orally and in writing Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Must be at least 18 years of age Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship Must be able to successfully complete all pre-employment requirements Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed Basic computer skills Preferred Qualifications: Associate degree in Process Operations Technology Process Operations Technology certification Previous manufacturing experience with basic mechanical knowledge Previous experience as a Process Operator in a chemical, rubber, or petroleum environment Distributed Control System (DCS) experience Vocational or technical training Mechanical or technical apprenticeship experience Military technical experience Strong understanding of mechanical concepts and problem-solving ability Experience adhering to industry-specific safety standards Candidate Criteria: Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Hard worker with a strong safety mindset Adaptable in changing environments Team-oriented Strong analytical and decision-making skills Commitment to safe work practices May be required to serve on the Emergency Response Team Equal Employment Opportunity Statement: G-3 Chickadee is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
