Fulmer has been in business since 1985. We are a family-owned and family-operated business, originally owned by Richard and Daniel (Danny) Fulmer. Approximately eight (8) years ago, Richard and Danny sold the business to the current owner David (Dave) Carson. Richard continues to work for Fulmer and Danny is enjoying retirement. Dave's two sons, Mike and Brady, work in the business. In a climate where service companies like Fulmer are being cobbled up and spit out by hedge funds, a commitment to continued family ownership and operation is critical.   

Fulmer has seen significant growth under Dave's leadership to include increased sales and revenue growth, additional personnel, investment in equipment and trucks, a new larger location, and the acquisition of a competing plumbing company. 

Fulmer services and installs HVAC units, is a full-service plumbing and electrical company (service, repairs, remodeling, new construction, residential and commercial applications). We have grown to approximately thirty-five (35)
employees. 

Fulmer is home officed in Newberry, SC – however, we service all of central South
Carolina (known as the Midlands). The plumbing division is in the process of expanding into two (2) adjoining areas with a population of ~100,000 each – Northeast Columbia and Chapin/Irmo – with other expansion plans beyond these locations.  

The following is the basic parameters to qualify for a plumbing apprenticeship opportunity with Fulmer Heating, Cooling, Plumbing & Electrical. This is not an all inclusive list, but should be sufficient to begin discussions.
