Responsibilities Assist patients with eyewear selections, fittings, and adjustments to ensure optimal comfort and vision correction Dispense spectacle lenses and coordinate with optical laboratories to ensure accurate lens fabrication Conduct eyewear fittings, frame adjustments, and ensure proper alignment for maximum comfort and style Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations, clinical confidentiality policies, and health regulation policies to protect patient information Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and optical laboratory tasks such as lens trimming and edging Qualifications Knowledge of optics, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to optometry Experience with optical laboratory procedures, spectacle lens dispensing, eyewear fittings, and frame adjustments preferred Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse patient populations including pediatrics and senior care clients Basic math skills for retail math calculations, prescriptions interpretation, and medical coding procedures Prior retail sales experience in an optical or healthcare setting is advantageous but not required Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: Retirement plan Work Location: In person
