Pay $20.00 per hour Night Shift Position Summary The primary function of the Night Shift CNC Machinist Apprentice Operator is to load and unload parts from CNC machines while ensuring all parts meet drawing specifications and manufacturing inspection requirements. This role plays a key part in maintaining production by keeping machines running efficiently and producing high-quality parts throughout the shift. Job Responsibilities Load and unload parts in and out of CNC machines Monitor assigned CNC machines and keep production running efficiently Ensure parts meet drawing specifications and Manufacturing Inspection Plans (MIP) Perform inspections using proper measuring tools, methods, and procedures Accurately document inspection results on MIP paperwork Communicate effectively with supervisors, leads, and day shift operators to ensure smooth production handoffs Identify, tag, and document nonconforming parts according to company quality procedures Maintain accurate production and quality records Follow all company safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures Keep work area clean and organized Qualifications Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and manufacturing instructions Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Mechanical aptitude and interest in CNC machining Ability to use inspection and measuring tools accurately Strong communication and teamwork skills Previous manufacturing or CNC experience is helpful but not required Willingness to learn and work independently on night shift Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to work in a manufacturing environment Ability to perform repetitive movements throughout the shift Why Work With Express Employment Professionals?
