About the Role
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Shop Apprentice to join our team. No prior CNC or advanced fabrication experience is required — we are ready to train the right candidate from the ground up! You will work alongside experienced technicians to learn CNC machine operation, material prep, equipment maintenance, and general shop/assembly building techniques.
If you have a strong work ethic, like working with your hands, and want to build a career in modern manufacturing, this position is for you.
What You'll Learn & Do
CNC Operation: Assist with machine setup, loading/unloading materials, operating controls, and inspecting finished parts.
Shop Equipment & Tools: Learn to safely operate shop tools, saws, grinders, and assembly equipment.
Assembly & Building: Assist in fabricating, assembling, and finishing projects according to specifications.
Quality & Measurement: Learn to read shop drawings/blueprints and use basic measuring tools (calipers, tape measures, micrometers).
Shop Operations: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace and keep inventory staged.
What We're Looking For
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Mechanically inclined with an interest in learning CNC machinery and building/fabrication.
Comfortable using basic hand/power tools and reading a tape measure.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
Strong reliability, punctuality, and eagerness to learn.
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 - 40.0 per week
